Maamigili's main draw is what's in the water just offshore, but there's more to a stay here than the excursions alone.
In the water
Whale shark snorkeling in the South Ari Marine Protected Area, manta ray sites, reef and turtle snorkeling, sandbank trips, sunset cruises, and dolphin cruises are all run as day trips from the island — all included across our different holiday packages depending on length of stay.

On the island
Maamigili is small enough to explore on foot in an afternoon: a working harbour, local cafés and small restaurants serving Maldivian and international dishes, and a designated bikini beach for swimwear (as on all local islands, swimwear elsewhere isn't appropriate out of respect for local custom).
Practical notes
Maamigili is the only island in South Ari Atoll with an airport, so it's also a convenient base if you're combining a guesthouse stay with visits to nearby islands like Dhigurah or Dhangethi via local ferry.
